Samuel Folabi A.K.A (Donsam) is the C.E.O SOUL BROTHER ENTERTAINMENT, & Donsam musiQ. He was born in Jos- plateau state- the northern part of Nigeria in the early 80’s and he hails from Kogi state. In 1991, Donsam started singing with the children choir of the Northern area headquarters of The Apostolic Church in Jos. CAREER AND ACHIEVEMENTS
He started off in music under the tutelage of his sunday school teacher, whom he fondly refers to as (Uncle Solomon). Apart from being a singer, he served as an instrumentalist (percussions and keys) for several years. He started professional music in the year 1997, and since then he has received several honorary awards from organizations like Panam Music World & Plateau Radio Television Corporation (PRTVC) in the year 2000, MSM and more.

Donsam has performed alongside several international Artistes like JEZREEL(USA),DA’TRUTH(USA), S.O(U.K), SHO BARAKA(USA) and the jazz maestro, AGBOOLA SHADARE (USA) etc. he has also produced & performed with Top Nigerian Artistes like MYSTRO, SAMSONG, SOLOMON LANGE, SILVER SADDIH, KINGSLEY IKE, CHRIS MORGAN, ASU EKIYE, GBENGA ADENUGA, TUNDE (STYL PLUS) FREKE, BUCHI (his mentor). His musical performances have taken him through more than 20 states in Nigeria.

Asides the music, Donsam has a huge passion for graphic arts and computer engineering. He learnt how to play instruments and produce music through self efforts. He also has 3 albums (DANCE, ONE MORE & EPISTLE ON A SCROLL) to his name which have sold over 30,000 copies. In these albums are hit tracks like; CHUKWU NONSO, OJA SOPE, FARA BALE, GHETTO, TRUE LOVE featuring LYNDSEY ABUDEI, POSH BELLA, and HERE TO WORSHIP; which have topped charts, caused online traffic and enjoyed massive air plays in and outside the shores of Nigeria, defying both ethnic and cultural barriers.

He’s currently working on a worship album titled FACE DOWN where he featured artistes like CHRIS MORGAN, SOULBROTHER and several others. The release of FACE DOWN is also supposed to introduce the SOULBROTHER artiste team which includes, and ENZO.
