My name is James Morgan, also known as Jimmy Mor. I started song writing as an 11 year old kid living in Philadelphia, PA with my Dad. I drew closer to music quicker than anything else and it grew into a way for me to tell stories. By the age of 19 I recorded 3 albums and 4 music videos. I started doing what main stream artists did until the age of 20 when that idea grew to conflict with my faith. I didn’t want to create music that sounded like everyone else. On top of that, I had beliefs that weren’t visible in my music or my music went directly against those beliefs (so I had to change). At that point I decided to only write music that would please God or make people think. If I write anything that will edify, help minister to or uplift your spirit - that is my main goal. God has truly changed my life so much that I write music to remind or inform people that there is a loving God who is near and able to change your life the same way he changed mine....more
