Evangelist Elijah Akintunde popularly known as voice of Elijah or Olorun kosobee is a Nigerian gospel Singer, and a performing artiste. Many of Akintunde's Songs became very popular and trendy on social media in line with a great number of streaming and downloads on Boomplay.
Career
He had his primary school education at Baptist School, Kajola, Ajaba, Osun State and then proceeded to Igbonnibi High school, Ila Orangun, where He had his secondary school education. He later bagged the NCE (NIgeria Certificate in Education) in mathematics and computer science there at Ila Orangun. But it seemed like he wasn't satisfied, so he went to the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Ondo State, where he got a degree in meteorology. Akintunde, who has been singing for 15 years said he started his music career as a choir master in his church where he developed his gift till he attained his current position.
Akintunde who hails from Okemesi Ekiti, in Ekiti State said that he got the inspiration for his music from the Holy spirit, explaining that holy spirit gives him the meaning of what is happening around him and he would compose his songs from there. Before coming to limelight, Akintunde produced three songs namely: Itiju ayeraye, Aanu Olorun and Ati fihan O before ‘Olorun kosobee' which made him famous.
His favorite song is Aanu Olorun because it is a personal prayer to him. His main Purpose of being a gospel musician is praising God; rendering songs of praise and bringing hope to the hopeless through his songs. His goal is to use music to transform people's lives and make it to heaven on the last day of his race.
He is inspired by the one Evangelist Ojo Ade to do his style of song. But as great things come with fame, great things also go away with it, one of the greatest things that fame took away from Akintunde is his shyness and he is now able to administer gospel to large crowds without any fear or being shy.
