Utkarsh Ambudkar (born December 8, 1983) is an American actor, singer, rapper, and song writer. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. He is a former VJ for MTV Desi. He has appeared in the comedy film Pitch Perfect as the character Donald, and in the television shows The Mindy Project, The Muppets, The Simpson's and most recently played Malcom on ShowTime's White Famous. Utkarsh originated the role of Aaron Burr in the developmental readings of Hamilton. He is co-starring alongside Brie Larson in the new feature film Basmati Blues. He also co stars in the upcoming film BlindSpotting, which was just picked up by Lionsgate at Sundance....more
