Glded is the solo project of Ben Harper. While rooted in organic acoustic instrumentation, Glded weaves synthesizers, altered vocals, and sampled instruments to blur the boundaries between indie folk, electronica, and R&B.
A native of Indiana, Harper began recording under the Glded moniker in late 2015 after relocating to Chicago. The self-released albums Glded EP and Transmissions and Yours Truly piqued the interest of the Chicago music scene and beyond, leading to opportunities to work with an expanded team of creatives.
