23-year-old rapper, songwriter, and record producer, Nasty C’s highly anticipated third album has finally arrived. He deals with a myriad of personal, as well as global issues on the album that sees him coming into his own, both as a performer and as an adult. The album is laden with coming-of-age euphemisms, accompanied by gritty trap beats, references to Nasty C’s interest in sport, anime, and pop culture. He tackles and reflects on various issues ranging from black consciousness and community, to lust, betrayal and aspirational wealth.
