Too Much

When I said goodbye you were sitting on the driveway crying

I said if you changed your mind I'm the first in line but you never called me back

So I swallowed up all of my pride and left without you that night I swear it was hard to bear the thought of losing you

But I went and I talked to my friends they said it was best if I moved on from your toxic love it grew to be too much

So a couple weeks went by we met up and we wed drive all over town

We talked about what went wrong we agreed we should move on but I couldn't stop crying

I tried swallowing all of my pride and left without you again I swear it was hard to bear the thought of losing you

But still I went to my house and I cried it was the first time I welled up since we broke up it all came at once
