Making the Adjustment

I'm emotionally traumatized, you can hear in the music

Tired of trying to be strong, can someone please let me lose it

Praying things will be alright because this year has been grueling

I'm about to have a child and hope it grows like a tulip

Blossoming into a healthy life to be the best human

Through love and lots of strength, I will pray we get through this

This is not what I had planned, but God does things were not used to

To shape us for improvement, we're preparing for beauty

Preparation for the love that I'm planning to give it

All the kisses and the hugs and the steps after tripping

All I'll say is get back up, cause when you fall it's uplifting

See it as a second chance to get back up and keep swinging
