Dream Boat

So allow me to address upon the scene

It wasn't in a nightmare nor was it within a dream

The sandman wasn't someone anybody could just read

But even in that space and state I was not as I seemed

Many a time he tried to play malicious tricks on me

He tried and tried to scare me wake me up with my own screams

But there was nothing he could ever come to make me fear

His admiration grew and then his feelings became clear

So now I'm spending all my time up in my head

My thoughts become a burden that won't let me out of bed
