Chris Brown idolizes His Biggest Inspiration Michael Jackson

It is no doubt that Chris Brown was inspired by Michael Jackson. After all, the King of Pop inspired many generations of entertainers and performers. Although this is true, there are only a few who can execute the stage presence and showmanship exuded by Michael Jackson. Chris Brown is one of them.

Brown took to Instagram to reflect on kind words from his biggest inspiration. In 2007, Access Hollywood did an interview with MJ and he had nothing but praise for Breezy a day after his Video Music Award debut performance.

“Chris is a bright and shining star whom I enjoy watching perform. I am happy to have had a positive influence on him,” said the King of Pop.

Chris Brown’s electrifying VMA performance set him apart from the rest of the pack. Anyone who can duplicate the legendary dance moves of Michael Jackson is certainly a force to be reckoned with. He was only 18 years old at the time.
