Alot Of Music Content To Digest In 2022!

Before we prepare ourselves for the My Boomplay Recap 2022 highlights, this year has been full of madness- in a good way though. Here's my chance to give my insight of how I saw this year turn out to be.
Many artists globally have made their breakthroughs and some even shared and dropped awesome quality music that I couldn't even comprehend.

1. Golden Club![0x1f617]
Alot of artists this year have made crazy numbers and now belong to the 100 million stream club. Artists like Burna Boy, Wizkid, Simi, Fireboy, Davido, Joeboy are among the elites to achieve the feat just to name afew.
These people show hardwork truly pays off.

2. Awesome Album releases![0x1f63b]
Both locally and internationally, we have been blessed with great sounds from all genres. Starting from Kenya, we have Invisible Currency(Khaligraph Jones), The African Sound Queen (Nasha Travis), Chonjo (Wangechi), Ceduction (Cedo) and Heavy is the Crown (Chimano) among others.
Across the continent include: TBH (Simi), Love, Darmini (Burna Boy), Rave n Roses (Rema) among other great ones.
Outside Africa, we have Breezy (Chris Brown), Renaissance (Beyonce), Come Home the Kids Miss You (Jack Harlow), An Evening with Silk Sonic (Silk Sonic ft. Bruno Mars) that really stood out!

3. Great Singles and EPs![0x1f63f]
Artists like Pryshon, Mejja, Khaligraph Jones, Nasha Travis, Otile Brown, Sauti Sol, Bahati, Femi One, Karun, Nyashinski, Diana Marua, Guardian Angel and Bridget Blue really stepped out and made this year remarkable with their content which is really quality! Make sure to check them out.
Diamond impressed us with First Of All EP that got 1 million streams in one day. Legend!
So many musicians really stepped out of their comfort zone and did really well. Big up to Lyanga Lisa from Kenya and Lisa Odour- Noah.

4. Upcoming Artists Breakthrough![0x1f636]
If this year was all music, it was really a huge contribution from the talented upcoming artists.
Boomplay really came through with the Booming On Boomplay Competition that saw many artists compete with other talented across the country. They really did well Music-wise. Huge market next year for them.

5. Events and Social Activities![0x1f60d]
There were so many events and social activities across the continent. In Kenya we were surely blessed with Shin City by Nyashinski. Despite the political fever, we were entertained with good music by artists all through.

Huge shout-outs to Nikita Kering'with her awesome performance at the BBC Radio One in the UK, and also for her recognition at he Times Square in New York.
We couldn't forget Khaligraph Jones who was also recognized in the Times Square Billboard after his Invisible Currency Album release. OG!

7. Eminem was inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame. Is he the best rapper in the world?[0x2728][0x1f63f]

This year has definitely been better all around and I am utterly speechless of how much Music was produced and released this year. Just crazy numbers indeed. The recap will surely be fire and I can't wait for you to share with me and your friends in general.
