Xiaomi Launch Civi 2

Xiaomi has officially launched Xiaomi Civi 2 today in China, the device is a direct successor to last year Xiaomi Civi.

The Xiaomi Civi 2 weighs in at just 171.8g and measures 7.23mm in thickness. The front features a 6.55-inch curved OLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels (FHD+), 120Hz refresh rate, and 10-bit color depth.

The rest of the Civi 2 is pretty solid too, featuring a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset, a 6.55-inch 120Hz FHD+ OLED panel, and a 4,500mAh battery with support for 67W wired charging. Xiaomi's latest phone also serves up a triple rear camera system, consists of a 50MP main shooter, accompanied by a 20MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro lens.

Xiaomi is also bringing a dual 32MP camera up-front in a center-mounted pill shape cutout, complete with autofocus for the main camera while the secondary camera comes with a 100° ultra-wide lens. It comes pre-installed with MIUI 13 based on Android 12 OS.

Xiaomi's Civi 2 goes on sale today in China. With a price tag of ¥2,399 ($335) for the 8GB/128GB model, ¥2,499 ($349) for the 8GB/256GB variant, and ¥2,799 ($391) for the 12GB/256GB model.

The device comes in black, pink, and blue colour options. And also a special edition dubbed Hello Kitty Edition sporting a white paint job and customized patterns.
