Apple Unveils iPhone 14 Series

Apple held a Far Out event today where they unveiled the latest iPhone 14 series, Apple Watch Series 8, Watch SE, Watch Ultra and the new Airpod Pro.The iPhone 14 series consists of the base model iPhone 14, 14 Plus, 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max. The article will be talking about the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus.
The base model iPhone 14 and 14 Plus offers almost same hardware as the last year's iPhone 13 Pro models with some minor upgrade in hardware.
The iPhone 14 features a 6.1 inch size display where the 14 Plus uses a 6.7 inch super retina XDR display with support for 60Hz refresh rate.
Both model is powered by last year A15 bionic chipset. They comes pre-installed with iOS 16 OS which packs some advance and cool features.
The 14 and 14 Plus also comes with Crash detection -just like the Watch Series 8- to help in alerting emergency provider in case of accident. The device also comes with satellite connection, this means you can send an SMS when you ran out of network connectivity (there's a guide on how to get your device connect to satellite service).The iPhone 14 series for US will come without physical SIM card slot and will rely solely on eSIM, whereas the rest of the world will get physical SIM card tray.
For photography, the device rear uses a new 12MP main sensor accompanied by an ultra-wide sensor. The front utilises a 12MP Depth sensor for taking pictures and Face Unlock.
The new iPhone 14 and 14 Plus use the same battery as the 13 Pros, this means that the battery can last more than the base model 13 series.
The base iPhone is available for a price tag of $799 and the 14 Plus will go for $899. You can pre-order the device as of today and it'll be available for purchase on the 16th of September.Stay tuned.
