Tecno Nigeria Unveils Camon 19 Pro Mondrian Edition

Tecno Mobile Nigeria held an online exhibition yesterday (August 16th) where they unveiled a special edition of Camon 19 Pro dubbed Camon 19 Pro Mondrian Edition. The new edition packs the same specification as the Camon 19 Pro, the major highlights of this device is rear panel design.

The Camon 19 Pro Mondrian Edition features a unique rear panel design that changes colour when exposed to light. The rear panel colour changing relies on a polychromatic photoisomer technology to follow geometrical patterns of colour change in the sun as said by Tecno.

The rear panel not only change colour when expose to sunlight but also when expose to any kinds of light both indoor and outdoor. The device primary colour when not expose to light is white punctuated by straight lines and right angles. But just as lights shun on it, it will reveal a design inspired by the art style of Dutch painter Piet Mondrian -hence the name Camon 19 Pro Mondrian Edition-.

Specification wise, the Camon 19 Pro features a 6.8 inch OLED display with Full HD+ resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate.

The device is powered by MediaTek Helio G96 chipset with support for 4G connectivity pairs with an 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. The device is available in 128GB and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage options. For interface, the device comes pre-installed with HiOS based on Google's Android 12 OS.

The device rear panel house a triple camera set-up which comprises a 64MP main camera with OIS paired a 50MP portrait camera with 2x optical zoom and a 2MP portrait lens. For selfies, there is a 16MP front camera sensor.

The device is equipped with a 5000mAh battery capacity which offers support for a 33W fast wired charging.

You can grab the device at a retail price of ₦179,500. And it's currently available at all Tecno Experience center, Tecno Partner Store and online sales platform in Nigeria.
