HOW TO SAVE DATA CONSUMPTION ON TWITTER

One of the hurdle of surfing internet is data subscription, how nice would it have been if the data connection is free of charge but alas for now it's not.
Twitter as a lite web page doesn't usually consume much data like other social media platforms, but if you count "the number of high-resolution pics that automatically load you would realise it does consume much data.
The tips I'm about to shed light on not only saves you data on Twitter but also safeguard you from accidentally viewing n*de pictures -You know that some of Twitter thread you like to read but the author would then post adverts about a p*rn website, and the tweet will be plastered with all kinds of n*de before you could read the thread and view other people reply, sometime it irritate if someone peep on you while viewing it and see those sophisticated pics and you can't easily convince them that it's not your fault that you accidentally stumbled upon it.
The Work Around
Step One: Open Twitter, the select "Setting and Privacy"
Step Two: Click on "Accessibility, display and languages"
Step Three: After it's has load finish, click on "Data Usage".
Step Four: Then toggle on "Data Saver", also you can choose for high-res image to only show when you're using WiFi alone.
After you have toggled "on" "Data Saver", go back or close Twitter apps and reopen its back.
As you can see there is a "veil" on the pics displaying with a description that tells you the size of the pics (just like it's on WhatsApp), if you want to view it just click on "Load image" and the image will display to you.
This workaround has been a life saver for me (saving data and most importantly saving me from accidentally viewing inappropriate photo) as averagely I spent 3-4hrs on Twitter daily.
I hope you find this worthwhile, stay tune and happy reading.
