Nothing held an online event today where they unveiled the much awaited, most hyped device to date dubbed Nothing Phone (1). The device packs some cool features.
The Nothing Phone (1) features a 6.55" FHD+ Flexible OLED display Visionox HDR10+ with support for 120Hz refresh rate. The rear of the phone features a Glyph interface which can be customisable, and the glyph interface can display light when you are recording a video, receiving phone call, message and alert, and moreso the one down below can shows the charging percentage when the device is being charge.
The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ SoC which is fine-tune for this device paired with the Adreno 642L GPU. The chipset is paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. For interface, it come pre-installed with Nothing OS based on Google's Android 12 OS. The device will get 3 year of Android updates and 4 year of security patches.
For optics, the device rear sports a dual camera set-up which consists a 50MP IMX766 main sensor accompanied by a 50MP sensor and both sensor support OIS(optical image stabilisation) and EIS ( Electronic Image Stabilisation). While front punch hole cutout utilise a 16MP IMX471 sensor for selfie and video recording.
Powering the device is a 4500mAh battery capacity which supports a 33W wired fast charging, 15W wireless and 5W reverse wireless charging.
The Nothing Phone (1) will retails for a price tag of £399 for 8GB/128GB storage variants while 8GB/256GB option will be available for £449and the high end model 12GB/256GB will be available for £499. The device is available in White and Black colour options with packaging design colour reflecting the phone colour.
