Realme Launches GT 2 Master Explorer Edition

Realme has officially unveiled Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition today in China. The device is a refresh edition of Realme GT 2 Master Explorer, and it's the first Realme device to be powered by the latest chipset from Qualcomm.

The device features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, 10-bit colors, a refresh rate of 120Hz, a 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut, HDR10+ support, and it measures 161.3 x 74.3 x 8.2mm and weighs around 199 grams.

Under hood is Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The come pre-installed with Realme UI 3.0 based on Android 12 OS. For connectivity it includes a dual SIM, 5G, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, dual-frequency GPS, NFC, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The Realme GT 2 Master Explorer utilise a triple camera set-up which consists of a 50MP Sony IMX766 main camera with OIS, accompanied by a 50MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP microscope lens. The front utilises a 16MP lens for selfie and video recording.

The device packs a 5000mAh battery capacity with support for a 100W wired fast charging. The retail box will include a 100W GaN (gallium nitride) charger which Realme claim can top up the device in 25 minutes from 0%.

The Realme GT 2 Master Explorer will retail for a price tag of 3,499 Yuan ($519), 3,799 Yuan ($564), and 3,999 Yuan ($594) for 8GB/128 GB, 8GB/256GB storage, and 12GB/256GB storage options respectively.

The device will comes in brown, black, and white colours option, and will be available for purchase in China starting from July 19th.
