Wangechi and Wakadinali’s Scar come together once again to present a joint LP, Chonjo, a display of the same effortless synergy from the first collaborative effort that produced one of the hardest hitting records in Kenyan Hip Hop, Sana Sana.
Chonjo is a rare exhibition of the deftness present in the Kenyan HipHop scene. Wangechi and Scar transcend silos of genres in a musically fragmented Nairobi to set up an experiment that serves as a blueprint for what a future of purposefully imaginative collaboration in the city looks like. 
Produced by Benzonit and Ares with features from Wendy Kay and other members of Wakadinali - Domani and Sewersydaa, Chonjo is a timely release, taking its position as one of the most technically sound and deliberately engineered projects from Nairobi in the past decade.
Preceding the release of Chonjo, Wangechi and Scar released Romantic Rivals featuring Wakadinali which has already been receiving rave reviews from fans. Produced by Aress (Big Beatz), directed by Spade Films, and chopped by Omoke, Wangechi establishes her much anticipated come back after a 3- year hiatus
