XIAOMI 12S SERIES MAKES ITS DEBUTS

Xiaomi held a launch event today (July 4th) in China where they unveiled the much awaited Xiaomi 12S series. The series is made of Xiaomi 12S, 12S Pro and 12S Ultra.

XIAOMI 12S

The Xiaomi 12s features a 6.28-inch AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

Powering the device is Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset fabled on 4nm process. The chipset is paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage. For interface, the device comes pre-installed with MIUI 13 based on Google''s Android 12 OS.

For photography, the Xiaomi 12S rear panel offers a triple camera set-up that features a 50MP main sensor accompanied by a 13MP ultra-wide sensor and a 5MP telemacro sensor while the front camera utilises a 32MP sensor for selfie and video recording. The camera lenses of this smartphone was co-engineer with Leica.

The 12S is powered by a 4500mAh battery capacity with support for a 67W wired fast charging, 50W wireless and 10W reverse wireless charging. For connectivity boost a dual Nano SIM support, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5,2, GPS. IR blaster, NFC and a USB Type-C Port.

The Xiaomi 12S Pro features a 6.73-inch AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

The camera lenses of this smartphone was co-engineer with Leica as do others Xiaomi 12S series.

The Xiaomi 12S Pro is powered by a 4600mAh battery capacity with support for a 120W wired fast charging, 50W wireless and 10W reverse wireless charging. For connectivity boost a dual Nano SIM support, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5,2, GPS. IR blaster, NFC and a USB Type-C Port.

Price

The Xiaomi 12S will retail for 3,999 yuan for the base 8GB/128GB while the 8GB/256GB will go for 4,299 yuan, 3,999 yuan for the base 8GB/128GB while the 8GB/256GB will go for 4,299 yuan, the 12GB/256GB storage will retail for 4,699 yuan and the high 12GB/512GB goes for 5,199 yuan.

The Xiaomi 12S Pro with 8GB /128GB, 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB storage option will retail for 4,699 yuan, 4,999 Yuan, 5,399 Yuan and 5,899 Yuan.
