Zane Phillips will play the Sex and the City star's son.
Legacies star Zane Phillips has joined the cast of upcoming drama series Glamorous, which will star Sex and the City's Kim Catrall.
The Netflix show will follow Marco Mejia (played by Miss Benny), a gender non-conforming queer person who begins working for Cattrall's character, makeup mogul Madolyn Addison. In their new job, Marco is given the opportunity to figure out what it really means to be queer.
Phillips, who played Ben in The CW's Legacies, is set to play Madolyn's son, Chad. He is "the director of sales for her beauty empire and constantly trying to live up to his mother's expectations", according to Variety.
Jade Payton, Michael Hsu Rosen, Ayesha Harris, and Graham Parkhurst will also star, while Diana Maria Riva, Lisa Gilroy, and Mark Deklin have joined the cast as guest stars.
Written by Star Trek: Discovery's Jordon Nardino, Glamorous was originally ordered as a pilot at The CW in 2019 before being scrapped and moved over to Netflix.
The streaming platform has given the show a ten-episode order, with filming slated to begin in Toronto this month.
Phillips most recently appeared in the Disney+ movie Fire Island as the rom-com's antagonist, Dex, who was inspired by Pride and Prejudice's Mr Wickham.
The actor first rose to fame as Ben in Legacies, though, which was sadly cancelled after four seasons last month.
The show's executive producer Julie Plec admitted that although she was mostly satisfied with how everyone's story played out, she's still hung up about Ben and Jed (Ben Levin).
"That was so new this year and it was so good. They were just getting started and now the story's over. That's one of the heartbreaks," Plec said. "They were just warming up."
