INFINIX NOTE 12 VIP REVIEW

Could not be more exited to unbox the latest addition to the infinix note series, the Infinix Note 12VIP, which is accompanied with the following accessories in the box; a transparent TPU case, glass screen protector, a 120W hyper fast charger, USB Type-c cable and the earphones.

Quickly glancing through the phone design is the astoudning 6.67 AMOLED FHD display with the selfie camera at the top centre of the screen, on the left handside is the dual nano 4G sim slot with a SD card memory expansion slot (upto 2TB) on the flipside of the sim tray, on the right side is the volume button and below it the power button which doubles up as a fast and accurate fingerprint scanner. The bottom of the phone houses the 3.55m audio jack, type C charging port, the microphone slot and one of the dual speakers. The back houses the rear camera, on the top left corner, which has two camera sensors and an LED flash.  The smartphone comes in two colours, cayenne grey and force black.

6.67” AMOLED FHD Display



The   6.67” AMOLED FHD Display is very vibrant and suitable for watching videos maintaining its brightness even in direct sunlight thanks to the 700 nits peak brightness level.

The 120Hz refresh rate and the 360 Hz touch sample rate provide a smooth and seamless transition through multiple applications, which is really impressive as I was able to navigate through twitter, instagram, tiktok, whatsapp, play subway surfers, and watch youtube videos without it hanging once.

 

The Memory: 256GB + 8GB

The 8GB RAM which is expandable by 5GB to 13GB contributes to the speed and efficiency of the infinix note 12 VIP. The phone is very fast, quickly launching applications and provides a seamless transition from one app to the another making multitasking easy and enjoyable. The 256GB ROM provides a sufficient storage space to house a lot of applications, photos and videos.

The Infinix note 12 VIP has a 108MP AI triple rear camera. The 104MP main lens captures clear and well detailed images, with an added 13MP ultrawide lens capturing more views at an enhanced angle and a 2MP depth sensor.

The selfie camera is a 16MP which captures decent selfies under different lighting conditions. It has a dual-LED flash with video outputs of 1080p at 30fps. The multiple camera modes including AI, Beauty, Super Night, Slow Motion and the Pro mode are an added bonus which comes in handy in darkness capturing clear images even in low light.

 

4500MAH Battery Life



The 4500 mAh battery not only provides for long lasting use but also has a charge cycle count as high as 800, mean without any notable degradation to the battery. The 120W fast charger ensures the phone is fully charged from 0 to 100% in an impressive 17 minutes. The battery is pretty long lasting going up to a full day of normal use.
