What are some of the things Parent should teach their children?

#BuzzDiscoveries Children are special gifts of life that ought to be treated with care, well trained, and brought up in good characters and morals that will be a blessing to the next generation. Parents have to know that the value of a child is so precious than the value of gold and silver such that, their children should be seen as treasures to them rather than as liabilities as some parents viewed it in a wrong perspective. This attention has to be given to every child at an equal range and not with discrimination because the latter doesn’t portray a character of a good mother or father.

Children are born s a result of a conscious fertilization process between a male and the female counterpart who usually form the parenthood. Knowing that the Earth is a very stressful and difficult place for a man to wander in from childhood till adulthood, where the child can be independent, each parent has to examine their motives enabling any fertilization process.

What do many parents fail to take into Consideration?

Before giving birth to a child, many parents forget that it’s their legal responsibility to take good of their children till they are independent; that is, they can live and survive on Earth on their own. This usually happens in the last youthful stage that is 25 years and above. Therefore, giving birth to more children entails a greater responsibility on the part of the parents. What are some of the things each parent can teach their children at their early stage of growth from and above that will be of great benefit to them and their children in the nearest future?

1)Teach them good morals/characters

 Research shows that about 80% of parents who are civil servants or businessmen don’t have time to teach their children. They spent almost the full 12 hours of the day searching for money. Some think that it’s the work of the pastor, priest, or religious leader to teach their children during Sunday's fellowship gathering. Don’t be mistaken. A mother or father carries 70% of the responsibility that entails teaching his/her children good morals. The future of any child will tell.

2)Teach them how to stay away bad environments

The days of little beginnings have great ways to impact the future of any child. Bad friends who may be at age 5, the same age as your child stem from parents are also failing in the area of giving proper training to their children. If you are a good mother or father that always gives proper moral advice to your children, then it’s your responsibility to teach them to ignore bad friends who may introduce them to any game or altitude that can ruin their life and health.

3)Teach them the importance of good Health

Good hygiene and sanitation are not mystical but natural. The fact that most children tend to escape from the dangers of bad hygiene doesn’t mean they are completely free to harbor bacteria, infections, and diseases. Take for example, just go to a nearby hospital or health center in your locality and find out if you won’t see children from age 5 and above also receiving treatments. Children die the most as far as food poisoning is concerned. Teach your children good hygienic practices before and after male, bodily hygienic practices, discerning dirty drinking water, dirty food, fruits, and dirty environments that are harmful.

4)Teach them the Blessing that comes behind Obedience and follow instructions

There are two special benefits to every child that walks in obedience and also following instructions very keenly from their parents and elders in the society; long life and good days. These two benefits are marked by both natural and spiritual forces. Most parents always think they can use force to submit their children under their rule without even telling their children the benefits of obedience. This is a failed tactic that would only result in violence with time.
