Vivo Launches Vivo S15 Series

Vivo held a launch event today(19th May) in China where they unveiled their latest device. One of the device launched is the Vivo S15 series, the series consist of Vivo S15 and the Pro model.
The vanilla Vivo S15 model features a 6.62 inch Samsung E4 AMOLED display that has a Full HD+ resolution, while the Pro model features a 6.56 inch Samsung E5 AMOLED display that also has a Full HD+ resolution and a high 120Hz refresh rate. It also comes with HDR10+ support and 1000Hz touch sampling rate as well as a dedicated independent display chip as well.
The Vivo S15 is powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 Peak Edition chipset, while the S15 Pro features a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 processor. Both model will launch with either 8GB or 12GB of RAM and either 128GB and 256GB of internal storage. For interface, both model come pre-installed with OriginOS Ocean based on Google's Android 12 OS.
For Photography, the vanilla S15 front punch-hole design houses a 32MP sensor for taking selfie and video recording while the rear offer a triple camer setup which consists of a 64MP primary sensor, accompany by an 8MP ultra wide angle lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. The Pro variant also features three cameras on the rear which houses a 50MP primary sensor, accompany by a 13MP ultra wide angle lens, and a 2MP B&W sensor. The front camera houses a 32MP camera sensor for taking selfie and video recording.
The Vivo S15 is powered by a 4,500mAh battery capacity with supports for 66W fast charging, while the Pro model also has a 4,500mAh battery capacity that supports 80W fast charging.
For connectivity, the Vivo S15 series include, dual nano SIM slots, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.1 on the S15 and Bluetooth 5.3 on the S15 Pro, GPS on the S15 and dual band GPS on the S15 Pro, X axis linear motor, NFC, and USB Type C port, and also an in display fingerprint scanner for security.
The Vivo S15 is available in Midsummer Blue, Light Gold, and Black colour options, while the Pro variant only arrives in Midsummer Blue and Black variants.
The Vivo S15 is available at a price tag of ¥2699 ($400) for the 8GB/128GB, while the 8GB/256GB goes for ¥2999 ($444) and the 12GB/256GB storage options is available at ¥3299 Yuan ($488).
The S15 Pro is available at a price tag of ¥3399 ($503) for the 8GB/256GB storage variant while the high-end 12GB/256GB storage options is available at ¥3699 Yuan ($548).
You can pre-orders the devices from today and it would be available for purchase on May 27th.
