Kanye West releases music video featuring throwback images of late mom Donda on Mother's Day

Kanye West honored his late mother Donda West in a new music video for his song Life of the Party.
The Chicago-bred rapper fittingly released the visual on Mother's Day, and paid homage to his mom while incorporating his forthcoming Yeezy Gap Engineered by Balenciaga collection.
The line is set to drop on May 25, and on Sunday Gap's Instagram content was entirely dedicated to the video's premiere.
A press release for the video and collection said, 'In a seamless alignment between Ye’s creative platforms[,] new visuals bridge the multidisciplinary artist’s past and future.
'Photos from Ye’s childhood have been updated to inlay pieces from the forthcoming Yeezy Gap Engineered by Balenciaga creative exploration.'
The Gap Instagram account created a series of posts that formed a photo montage of a still from the video.
Each caption read, 'YE LIFE OF THE PARTY YEEZY GAP ENGINEERED BY BALENCIAGA 5 25 22.'
