Eight diseases you can get from kissing

Several diseases are transmitted by kissing. Because of the heat of the moment you do not even realize that a kiss can transmit several diseases. Moreover, some of them are very serious.
The reason is that, during the act, millions of bacteria are exchanged, and among them, one or two can cause diseases. To prevent them, there is no need to stop kissing. All you have to do is follow a few precautions.
Diseases you can get from kissing according to healthline:
1. Herpes Labialis: It is caused by a virus that appears from time to time and has no cure.
2. Gingivitis: It is an inflammation of the gums that causes pain and discomfort, generated by bacteria that produce tartar.
3. Syphilis: Syphilis is a kissing disease that is transmitted by kissing another person who is infected and has a wound in their mouth. The most common method of infection, however, is sexual. The disease is caused by a bacterium called treponema pallidum and can appear in different parts of the body, taking up to a week after infection to appear.
4. AIDS: A disease caused by a virus that drastically reduces the body's defences, leaving it vulnerable to a series of diseases. In this case, AIDS can be a kiss-borne disease in the mouth if there are cavities or sores on the lips or inside the mouth.
5. Cavities: Cavities are caused by bacteria that penetrate the teeth and, when left untreated, can lead to tooth loss. Kissing can indeed contribute to an increase in the appearance of caries.
All of this is due to the exchange of fluids that occurs when kissing another person. The best way to prevent this kissing transmitted disease is to brush your teeth, especially if you do not have a fixed partner and have "been" with several people.
6. Tonsillitis: The Kissing Sickness is caused by a virus or bacteria, and even if the person doesn't present symptoms anymore, he/she can pass on the disease if he/she is still under treatment. When caused by a virus, even if one is taking palliative medicine for the symptoms, the ideal is to wait at least 7 days before kissing on the mouth again. The same is valid for those who are being treated for bacterial tonsillitis.
7. Influenza A: It is not only sneezing that transmits influenza A. A kiss with a person who has the disease can also cause you to develop it. A person who already has symptoms will probably stay put, but if they haven't shown any symptoms, they can pass the virus on by kissing on the mouth. To prevent this, it is best to avoid kissing many partners during the winter season, when the disease appears more frequently. Body aches and high fevers (above 38 degrees) are two of the main symptoms of A flu.
8. Mononucleosis: It is not necessary to say which is the main way of contamination of the so called "kissing disease". Since the person does not always know that he/she has the virus, and since mononucleosis is one of the kissing diseases and can also be asymptomatic, he/she ends up transmitting the disease to other people.
In cases where there are symptoms, the main ones are fatigue, sore throat, cough, and swollen nodes. It is worth remembering that the virus can stay incubated for 30 to 45 days in the organism and there is no cure-the person will carry it for the rest of their life.
