'Right now, I'm trying to challenge myself because it’s a challenge getting dressed and feeling sexy [while pregnant],' she told Fashionista.

'So I’m pushing myself to just go for it, and I’m having fun. So the stuff that’s more strappy or more revealing or that’s not for maternity, I want that.'

Together with longtime stylist Jahleel Weaver, Riri is taking maternity fashion to a whole other level.

For her first appearance since announcing her pregnancy, the Fenty founder stepped out in an all-black look consisting of a cropped jacket and matching low-rise leggings.

Her balaclava (knit hood), futuristic shades and multi-layered gold necklaces added edge to her ensemble, but it was the sexy strappy top highlighting her cleavage and growing baby bump that turned heads.

The 34-year-old fashion icon has never been one to follow style "rules" or embrace conventional, mainstream fads, so we're not surprised that her current aesthetic is the antitheses of traditional maternity.

She wore a green sparkly halter top and the brand's ombre pants, along with black strappy sandals and an array of statement jewelry

Earlier this month the actress and Béis Travel creator posted a video on Instagram exposing her beautiful belly.

Looking sleek and chic, the star wore a tan oversized blazer over an embellished bra top, and a body hugging mini skirt in the same color.

With her eyes to camera she slowly opens her jacket to show her belly before turning to one side for a full reveal.
