Zambia’s KB has released his 4th studio project titled “Love & Heart Break” – a 12 track album from industry vets and fresh faces including Kantu, T-Sean, Dexon, Neo and Jorzi.
From the first mellow stirrings of “Ordinary Lover”, it sounds like the perfect companion to a relaxed December holiday season.
Music from Zambia has really been having an impact and making its presence felt across Africa over the past few years, and KB seems determined to ensure that this lasts.
Highlights on the new project (which have all been produced by KB himself) are numerous. Volume echoes a familiar beat, while Freaky Freaky is one that is certain to set late nights at the club on fire.
It’s clear that KB has a very definite sense of his own identity as an artiste, and the album flows beautifully together – clearly a tracklist that has been selected with love.
