BoomTopic 7: How to properly clear your phone cache?

Hi Boombuddies,

The more you use your phone, the more cache memory it takes up. As long as the phone’s memory is cleaned up reasonably, more storage space can be released for you to download your favourite music.

However, we’ve found some Boombuddies accidentally clicked the wrong button during the clearing process, which causes the downloaded songs to be cleared as well.

Check out the correct steps to clear up the data below:

Click the ‘Clear Cache’ button to free up more storage space. Please do not click the ‘Clean storage’ button, otherwise the user and song data will be cleared directly.

Some Boombuddies are accustomed to using memory cleaning software to help clean up their cache, but there is a mixed bag of cleaning software, and a lot of software will mistakenly treat the downloaded songs from Boomplay as garbage and directly clean them up.

We recommend you to use Phone Master as it can run automatically and it will not clean up the downloaded songs from Boomplay.
