Some of the best sellers in the rap industry have been most active within this period even with a few months before we can officially part ways with 2021 and carry forward great Hip-hop hits.
With all of the 2021 released rap songs competing for chart dominance, I have compiled some of the best chart-topping tracks from January to October 1t below.
RAPSTAR.
'RAPSTAR' is a rap single by American rapper Polo G released for his third studio album 'Hall of Fame. The Hit single was released on April 9, 2021, and went on to become Polo G's first-ever song to peak at No 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. As per reports the song has already sold 500,000 units in the US alone and has already been certified platinum by the American RIAA.
UP.
'UP' is a song by one of America's most successful female artists over the past two decades. The hit single was released on February 5, 2021, and debuted at No 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 after its release. The song then went ahead to peak at NO 1 on the chart a few days later becoming Cardi B's fifth single to do so and thus making her the first-ever female artist to achieve that milestone. The Hit single was also used as a theme at WrestleMania (WWE's annual pay-per-view event).
Calling My Phone.
Released on February 12, 2021, by Columbia records 'Calling My Phone’ is a rap song by American rapper Lil Tjay featuring American singer 6lack. The Creators of the song achieved their highest ever charting Billboard Hot 100 hit when ‘Calling My Phone’ debuted at No 3 back in February.
Call Me By Your Name.
‘Call Me by Your Name is a song by American rapper/singer Lil Nas X from his latest Album Montero. Release on March 25, 2021, the hit finally peaked at No 1 on Billboard Hot 100 after a full week of sitting below Polo G's Rapstar. The 'Old Town Rapper' also included the single on his first studio album 'Montero' released on September 17, 2021.
Whole Lotta Money (Remix)
The remix which was released on July 9, 2021, by American Rapper BIA features an appearance from the 'Queen of Rap' Nicki Minaj. The song peaked at No 16 on Billboard hot 100, No 13 on US Rhythmic, and No 13 on US Hot R&B/ Hip-hop songs. The creator of the song BIA later disclosed that the hit helped sell out all the shoes from an infamous shoe line she mentions on the song.
