ADELE TEASES HER COMEBACK

ADELE TEASES HER COMEBACK
Adele fans have speculated new music is on the way after a series of '30' billboards have popped up across the globe.

Fan accounts on social media have spotted at least two '30' billboards in Dubai and Ireland, suggesting her fourth album would follow her pattern of calling albums after her age. Adele's last album was 2015's Grammy Award-winning record 25.

While Adele is yet to comment, she previously teased the forthcoming album in an Instagram back in 2019, writing: '30 will be a drum n bass record to spite you.'

The '30' title would certainly fall in line with Adele's preferred way of naming her albums, with all three of her studio albums named after her age.

Adele's debut album 19 was released in 2008, followed by 21 in 2011 and 25 in 2015.

Should Adele follow the previous pattern, the 30 album would provide plenty of inspiration, having been the age she separated from ex-husband Simon Konecki.

Fans across the globe have gone wild over the mysterious billboards, with one posting on Twitter: 'ADELE IS COMING!!! OMG!!!'

Another followed with: 'I'M SHAKING ADELE IS COMING OMG #30 '.

MailOnline has reached out to Adele's representatives for comment.

Adele fans are already on high alert after Taylor Swift announced she had pushed back the release date of the re-recording of her 2012 album Red from November 19 to November 12.

The announcement led fans to believe Taylor had pushed the album up a week, with Adele's long-awaited fourth studio album reportedly dropping on November 19.

Speculation on Adele dropping new music first surfaced from a radio host named Mauler.

Mauler sent out a cryptic tweet that was later deleted on Tuesday, which said, 'New Adele. This week.'

Despite no confirmation from Taylor or Adele, that hasn't stopped fans from speculating on Twitter.

Last month it had been reported that Adele was set to make a show-stopping comeback in time for Christmas with her much-anticipated fourth album and televised Las Vegas concert.

The alleged spectacular will mark the singer's first live performance in over four years, following her record-breaking stadium tour which concluded in 2017.

A source told The Sunday Mirror: 'It's been a long time coming but her label wants it released before Christmas and have their sights set on a performance in Vegas.

'Adele and her management have been in talks with BBC America about broadcasting it around the world. This will be one of few performances as part of her promotional tour,' the source added.

'Obviously with ongoing Covid dramas and concern for safety it could affect recording, but this is the date scheduled right now.'

In a bid to top her last LP 25, which sold a whopping 23 million copies since its 2015 release, the Grammy winner's latest project was due to be dropped last year but was delayed by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Along with a major marketing campaign, her record label Sony is thought to be penciling in a November release for the collection of tracks which will see the icon reflect on her divorce from husband Simon Konecki.

Ed Sheeran recently revealed he believed the Hello hitmaker was aiming for a festive comeback.

In a recent interview he said: 'I think Adele's coming back before Christmas. I've heard rumours.'
