The 2021 Met Gala which was held on the second Monday in September, came with the American Independence theme.

Patriotism, pop culture, and politics were in fashion at the Upper Fifth Avenue, where it was lit up with a blitz of flashbulbs not seen in over two years.

With a $35,000 ticket price, the higher class in attendance followed the set theme in different styles and interpretations. Or at least, some did.
