    Nigerian singer Wizkid’s song “Essence” featuring fast-rising singer Tems, has emerged as the “most Shazamed” song in the United States.

    This marks a remarkable achievement for Wizkid and Tems, who are signed to the same label and for African music as a whole.
    The song has been receiving wide acclaim since it was released off his fourth studio album, Made in Lagos in October last year.
    The music-search platform gave the announcement on its website while sharing the Top 200 Most Shazamed songs in US.
