#BuzzScreenReview: Movies You Shouldn't Miss Out on This June!
What's a new month without new movies as cold as June is? June is packed with amazing movie and series content that almost provides the ultimate plan to beat the cold. With the many releases on Netflix right now, there is practically no excuse not to stay in and cuddle or enjoy a hot cup of chocolate with your favourite people as you explore the many released projects.
#BuzzScreenReview takes a look at two specific hot movies set to drop in the next few days that you cannot afford to miss if you are a lover of guns, fistfights and the action drama that comes with it.
Infinite
Starring Chiwetel Ejiofor as Bathurst, albeit with a weird accent, tries to scare Mark Wahlberg (Evan McCauley) into remembering some items he says are his.
Evan is introduced to us then as a schizophrenic, diagnosed at 14 when he carved the words "Look inside" on his chest with a boxcutter. In comparison to his history, Evan portrays nothing but a common man making viewers want to find out what is going on thanks to Bathurst's satisfactory smile when Evan eventually remembers something at gunpoint.
Before anything goes down, a woman (Sophie Cook as Tammy) rums a car into the building while shooting everyone and thing around her as she whisks Evan away.
Evan soon learns he's known as an "Infinite," a person blessed with the gifts of reincarnation. (I know, sounds a little like The Old Guard). He has died and been reborn thousands of times, meaning all of his visions are, in fact, real.
He, along with several others, task themselves with protecting humanity from the Nihilists.
Appearing like a touch of The Old Guard and Highlanders, Infinite's trailer lives so much to be desired. Thanks to them telling the story without really telling it and having viewers at the edge, anticipating its release makes it one of the best trailers I have watched in a very long time!
Rogue Hostage
If you are not into the incarnation vibe that Infinite offers, might we suggest joining Tyrese on Rouge Hostage? Single father and a former marine Kyle Snowden (Tyrese Gibson) is tasked with ensuring a bunch of people his daughter included get out alive and safe after they are trapped in a sports shop by a group of white militia who are after a congressman with a lot of secrets.
"Once a marine, always a marine." Gibson takes it to 100 real quick with the hunting and elimination of the bad guys. His skillset makes the watch worth it to mention the sports shop as an added advantage. Like do you know how many items in a sports shop could be used as weapons of destruction? Think about it! Meantime, check out the trailer below and let us know if you come tomorrow, you will be watching it!
