Breaking News: Bobby Shmurda To Be Released From Prison

American rapper Bobby Shmurda born Ackquille Jean Pollard will soon be a free man after serving his time in prison after taking a plea deal in 2016.
The rapper was sentenced to 7 years in prison and failed to make bail. He however had been locked up since 2014.
News of his release was previously hinted on social media platform Instagram by his fellow rapper Rowdy Rebel who also did time and is currently on "community supervision" until December 15, 2025 at the latest, as reported by Pitchfork.
He captioned his post;"SIX DAYS LFET. Then all the joy gone wash away the pain,” Rowdy wrote. “I promise you brother."
Rowdy also shared in a recent interview he can't wait to perform with Shmurda.
Rowdy Rebel was part of Bobby Shmurda’s GS9 collective since 2014 with hits such as “Shmoney Dance” and “Hot N---a.”
"They both signed deals with Epic Records, who released the rappers’ collaborative “Computers.” In December 2014, the rappers and other GS9 members were arrested and accused of operating a violent street gang as well as conspiracy charges."
Today, the rapper's account also confirmed he'll soon be out by posting this Notorious B. I. G clip ; with a revealing caption asking if his fans still remember him.
TMZ, spoke to Leslie Pollard who is Bobby's mother who told them they were looking forward to having him home.
"After dinner, we're told Bobby -- who's been locked up since 2014 -- wants to keep it chill. Nothing crazy. He wants to get back to his passion, which of course is music. Leslie tells us he'll devote most, if not all, of his time to creating music again."
Despite having issues during his incarceration, the 26 - year - old is being released 10 months early but will be on parole until 2026.
