News that DMX has an upcoming collab with the late rapper Pop Smoke is yet another confirmation of Pop’s prowess. Not that anyone can dispute this.
The 50-year-old rapper who is preparing to release his next work is reported to have talked about the album and who is in recent a podcast interview.
The “X gon' give it to ya” rapper was responding to a question about the collaborations that will appeal to a younger audience.
He then revealed, the late Pop Smoke will be one of them.

The rapper confirmed he has also worked with Griselda and those are the type of “young” artists he chose to work with. "That's what type of new I'm doing." He told N.O.R.E of Drink Champs podcast.

X added that he had not met Pop before his death but he clearly loved his style.
"The growl and everything, I guess it's just a coincidence," DMX said.
He also did joke and say that Pop might have as well been his and fifty’s baby.
DMX announced that he was coming back to the game last year in March after a five-year hiatus.
