How to Make the Right Decisions Everyday
Uganda
2
I strongly believe in doing the right thing, even if it is hard at times.
But how do you know what is right?
Deciding what is right should be easy, if you use the most undefiled measure of right and wrong - 'the gut feeling'. It is usually the most ignored, but also the most reliable way to make the best decisions. Ofcourse you need to use your brain and heart as well, but let the final decision be based on your gut instinct.
This is also part of what defines "street smart" people, not necessarily their "sharp brains" as many have come to believe.
We all have three "brains" with which we can use to make everyday decisions; the brain (mind), the heart (emotions) and the gut (instinct).
The mind and heart are sometimes manipulated by the current environment, our past among other thjngs. However we can reliably trust that gut feeling to make better decisions, regarding anything. The gut is devoid of emotions and the mumbo-jambo that the world has painted on your brain.
If your gut tells you that it is the right thing to do, do it, no matter what is staring at you in the face. If your gut feeling is negative towards something, it is best to let it go, if you don't, you will most likely regret it.
If people do not understand why you always want to do the right thing then people leave you standing alone, it means that those people who leave you standing alone aren’t who they say they are, and they are not the true people you once thought you can trust and be around with.
When you do something right and stand by the right side of things and when people stay with you, they are definitely keepers and then you will know exactly who is true and who is not.
There are many other important decisions to make away from relationships forexample career change, health and lifestyle decisions.
The society has become so insidious that you have to be very careful of who you trust. You have to over-analyze and observe people before jumping into a friendship, relationship and companionship.
I cannot stress how important it is to protect yourself at all times from bad decisions. Your emotional, mental and physical safety is your responsibility.
So use your instinct to make the right decisions for your life today. It is okay if you make mistakes here and there, learn from them, and move on positively.
