“Nigerian Hip-Hop Died When DaGrin Died” - CDQ Says

Rapper CDQ has expressed his opinion about the state of rap music in Nigeria.
He talked about the impact of DaGrin in the hip-hop scene. He said this in a recent interview on ‘The Conversation’. Vector, M.I Abaga, DJ Jimmy Jatt also voiced their opinions on the evolution of Hip Hop in Nigeria.
He said since Dagrin’s untimely death, Hip Hop suffered a major decline even till the present day. He added that the rapper was the only artist in his own opinion that stayed true to the genre.
