The Nigerian music scene boast of amazing talent in terms of music production, dropping sizzling hits constantly. Even though we've had disappointing lyrical content the producers keep evolving, blending ancient and futuristic sounds to the delight and excitement of fans in Africa and outside the continent.

As magical as that sounds, when a producer and an artist develops chemistry it has always birthed consistent hits and that's a fact - Fresh VDM×Davido, Kel P×Burna Boy, ShowDemCamp×Spaxx, Olamide×Young John.
While we can appreciate the good music these relationship has birthed you can agree that the Don Jazzy × D'banj era was the holy grail of the producer × artist relationship.

They complimented each other. They made smashing hits with every release. They owned stadiums whenever they performed. They had everyone singing, from Tongolo to Fall In Love. Everyone loved them.

Every artist in the label got a shot at stardom and a taste of fame, they all got their turns to entertain the fans; Prince, Dr. Sid, Wande Coal are all household names because of Mo'Hits.



This chemistry carried the label, everyone wanted Mo'Hits at their events, they raked home awards and endorsements individually and collectively. They were a force.
You hear their songs on the radio, you had to play their songs for your parties to pop. They were the life of the party - Literally.

And then it ended, just like that - the biggest label of that era. Although lots of issues played out in the backgrounds no one thought it would happen. The industry's biggest relationship.
They broke up and we haven't had anything like that ever since.
