Rapper 6ix9ine is never far off a controversial hot take on how the world works. He posted a two minute rant on his Instagram account accusing Billboard top 100 of playing favourites and he is not with it.
6ix9ine claims that the charts rigged him out of the number 1 position for his latest release 'Gooba'. He presented forecasts purportedly sent to major labels which had Doja Cat's 'Say So' as number 1 followed by his record 'Gooba' at number 2. The Weeknd was number 3 with 'Blinding Lights' followed by Savage the remix at number 4. The issue was with number 5 record by Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber 'Stuck With You'.
Tekashi claims that the second email saw 'Stuck With You' jump from number 5 to 1 in seconds with just 60,000 units sold 'out of nowhere'.
On the rant he says "Grande and Bieber went fron fifth place to first place out of nowhere. I'll be real disappointed cause this is for every rapper, artist in the world. Every genre. If you manipulate the charts right and you create bundles. Gooba streamed over 200 million streams more that Stuck with you, more than every artist that released a song this week double the times. It is a landslide" said 6ix9ine.
Tekashi told Billboard everyone was watching the charts and he would hate to believe people are paying for spins on the radio and making manipulation bundles to manipulate the charts.
Either Tekashi is a sore loser or he does not believe there are other acts out there better than him.
