Bring the Rain

It only takes a moment for your world to change

Blue skies fade away and turn to darkness and take hold of what remains

So hard to be thankful when it rains indoors

Tearing down every room you ever made – leaves you broken on the floor

Bring the rain, bring the storm

Until the morning light will come

I will stand out in the cold and feel the rain

It doesn’t phase me lately that when it rains it pours

Trying hard to gain perspective in the moment from confusion that endures

It’s not unusual, I’ve seen rain before
