You don't need to know what I am thinking

You don't need to know what's on my mind

You don't need to know how long it's taken

To stop my thoughts from wandering around, round, round

You don't need to know that even when I'm drinking

I still can't seem to put it all behind

And you don't need to know that when you write me

The walls that gives me shelter crumble down, down, down

What would you think of me if you saw me as I am
