Sometimes you lose in the simplest battles because you’re too proud to let someone know that they are your soulmate, that without them, nothing makes sense. Sometimes you get to have that happy ending and it’s really beautiful. As much as you’re trying to love someone, you have to nourish yourself too. Love isn’t a war you have to fight to keep it alive. Love is beautiful when you get to be loved the way you love. Love is fulfilling when you get to come home to the person you don’t mind spending all of your evenings with. I mean, we all have that one person who means everything to us, someone whose voice makes everything else background noise because they are the one. When you find your person, I hope you recognize them, I hope you accept them. And above all, I hope you get to be loved the way you give love.
