She told me "George I wanna leave, I wanna see the stars"

Ecstasy and whiskey, coke been blackening her heart

Her livers battle scarred, only healed from time apart

Should've gone to Mars but she got lost inside my past

I bought her to the bubble and I told her she'll be safe

I forgot this prison wasn't built for her escape

A fortress forged in struggle, fortified by rage

The victim of my story, now a story on my page

She made this house a home

We squabble over bottles like she's better off alone

We keep our curtain closed

We sleep all day, I write all night, she knows I love her though
