Ronnie Joudo
Beginning his singing career in Southwest Sydney in 1999 by performing at local functions, Ronnie Joudo was about to be discovered. In 2001 Ace Fender discovered Ronnie and highly impressed with his vocal ability, invited Ronnie into his recording studio to begin recording his first album. Recording Ace’s award winning song “In a Moment” began the process that saw him record several more. At that time Ronnie also was privileged enough to perform alongside his mentor. Unfortunately Ace passed away in 2002 and the album project was never completed, doubly sad as Ronnie was to be Ace’s progeny.
Following the passing of his mentor and friend, Ronnie continued to play private functions, open mic nights and other venues up until around 2010. The song writing experience and the learning that Ronnie had learned from Ace fender he describes as “unbelievable”. Ace had written songs for Jade Hurley and Slim Dusty among many others so Ronnie decided to take the information he had learnt from Ace and his own experiences and began writing more songs. By 2018 he was back playing live.
In 2019 Ronnie discovered Rod Motby at Tracking Dog Studios and the process of recording again began, leading to the release of his first single “Cruisin’ Along”.
There’s no doubting Ronnie Joudo has a huge future ahead of him as one of the finest voices to enter the Australian Country Music family
