Jayé is a Cameroonian artiste in her early 20s, born in the Anglophone Southwestern town of Muyuka and raised in Kumba, where she developed her talent in the footsteps of other popular Cameroonian artists like Mic Monsta, Tzy Panchak and Big G. Baba.
She is a native of Weh in the Northwest Region, and currently resides in Buea, the Mount Cameroon capital of Southwest Cameroon. She is also a great songwriter, who writes her own songs, and a former video vixen. She has recorded several songs to be released in 2020 as singles and as part of her maiden album. Jayé’s repertoire comprises mostly sensual rhythms based on a blend of old school Makossa and new school Kizomba.
Jaye signed her record deal in early October 2019 with BGC Melody - the House of Positive Artists. BGC Melody is a franchise subsidiary of BGC Management, based in Virginia, USA, and registered in Yaounde, Cameroon for its operations in Africa.
