Juma Mohamed Mchopanga (popularly known by his stage name Jay Moe ; born 27 November 1978 ) is a talented musician, songwriter, actor, chef and activist from Tanzania . Many of Jay Moe songs become very popular and trendy online with a great number of streaming and downloads on Boomplay.

Career
Jay Moe started raping in 1998 as a member of the WATEULE group, best known for their hit singles "People", "We're Back", and "Still Still".
In his solo album which began in 2001, he has released several hits, including "Bishoo", "If You Want a Demo", "Rain and Sun". Other songs released by Jay Moe include "Story 3" and "Silence" feat. [[Ngwair]]. Like Professor Jay, Fid Q and Mwana Fa, he is a veteran MC of Tanzania, who has remained one of the most popular hip hop musicians in Tanzania, despite the influx of many new bidders.
In one of his songs he has compared the rain between the rain and the sun, the song with the chorus which says "Between the rain and the sun what is better?" among the longest songs that are still played every now and then on radio and other entertainment venues.
Her debut album, "The Universe is the Mother," was spotted on the spot where Jay Moe toured the country, getting a chance to star in a girlfriend's film, a film considered by many as the beginning of the Tanzanian film industry.
