Born in Porto-Novo capital of Benin on January 11, 1991, Christian ODJOUGBELE alias Scherzo is a very ambitious young man passionate about good music. He grew up in Cotonou and very early showed his love for music.
In 2007, the group entered the studio for the very first track of each of their careers. This was the title "Assassin". But the adventure of the two young people stopped very early in 2008 when Bill left the city to continue his studies in northern Benin. In the same year, he met another young rapper named Scano with whom he formed the group: Monarc Noir (Monarque: he designates a leader, who can be hereditary or elected; and the Black as the color of Eden).
In 2013, the group Monarc Noir enters the studio again with the help of the record company: "Tropical Music 1213 Records" to record a mixtape called "Nos Maux Sales" which officially launched on September 27, 2014 in Porto-Novo. It was yet another great adventure for Monarc Noir. Scherzo one of the members in his vision of always revealing his talent to the general public reappears under the nickname: "Black Monarc MC" with a second disc called "A la Recherche du Bonheur" which he officially launched on September 19, 2015 at SALOON VIP in Porto-Novo and it was very well received by the music lovers who were expecting it.
On December 12, 2020 he released a new EP "WINXAGUN" with which he signed a new adventure.
