Kenyan rapper Raj Okemwa is familiar to Kenyan Hip Hop lovers but the young Kisii rapper says that he’s still experimenting with sounds and he wants to do whatever genre of music appeals to him. Not only that, he’s also learning how to edit and shoot his own videos. Raj has played snippets to a song he has with Khaligraph, who he says he’s been trying to get a hold of for a minute. Although he won’t give any more details about the work he has done with Victoria Kimani, what I can say is that there are three songs in the pipeline.

A young entrepreneur, Raj produces his own music under his recording studio, Music Bank, which he owns with Dom. Music Bank’s doors are also open to other artists not affiliated with it.

Raj had a successful collaboration with STL on Obe Baba (Rmx), a club hit, he was amongst the pioneers of Kisii rap but music and artistry isn’t all there is to him.
