Olamilekan Massoud Al-Khalifah Agbeleshebioba, popularly known as Laycon, is a Nigerian born rapper & Afrobeats artiste. Laycon was born and raised in Lagos State, attended the University of Lagos from 2012 to 2016 and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy.
When asked about his music style, he said “I diversify my creativity as much as I can and strive to get more versatile. I rap, sing and also play instruments". In 2016, Laycon released the Young, Black and Gifted EP (YBAG). He has worked on several projects, collaborating with acts like Reminisce, Joeboy, DJ Neptune, Zlatan, YKB, Chinko Ekun, Mr Real and more. He got signed to Fierce Nation Entertainment in 2018 and has released several records under the label’s imprint, including “Fierce feat. Reminisce & Chinko Ekun” and “Who is Laycon-EP”. In 2020, Laycon emerged winner of the Big Brother Naija Reality TV Show.
