Rosemary Wahu Kagwi, professionally known as Wahu, is a Kenyan singer, songwriter, retired fashion model, actress and entrepreneur. Many of Wahu’s songs become very popular and trendy online with a great number of streaming and downloads on Boomplay.

Wahu is also a degree holder of Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics & Communication from University of Nairobi. She is also branched into acting, landing a lead role in a Kenyan television show titled Tazama. Her entrepreneurial ventures include the Afrosiri salon which is a popular hair, makeup and spa center in Nairobi.
Wahu started out as a secular artist in the early 2000s before transitioning to gospel music in 2017 scoring multiple hits in both genres and awards. She is married to the legendary musician Nameless whom she shares two daughters with.

CAREER
Wahu discovered her passion in music while in Precious Blood High School where she wrote her first song but it wasn’t until the year 2000 that she embarked in a career in Music.

She released her debut single "Niangalie" the same year which was well received across Africa. She released three singles back to back namely "Niangalie", "Esha" and "Liar".

In 2005 Wahu released her breakout hit titled "Sitishiki" which further boosted her popularity. In 2008 she released her most popular hit to date titled ‘Sweet love’ which was a dedication to her daughter. In 2017 she released her first song as a gospel artist tited ‘Sifa’.
